Nautilus Lifeline Marine Rescue GPS is a free-to-use personal locator beacon (PLB) designed to make use of the maritime Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Digital Selective Calling (DSC) that is present on most yachts and all commercial ships. These systems allow for distress calls but also gives a constant position report to all nearby vessels, separate from the emergency function.
